Hi, all.  I was introduced to a magazine called Best Friends by my friend, Mary.  It is published by the animal sanctuary called Best Friends.  The magazine has all sorts of interesting articles, not to mention ways you can help animals and such.  Check out the following link.  You can download the zine for free as a PDF file.  Check out the article called "Sufferin' Succotash!".  It informs us that plants scream when they're cut and eaten.  Creepy to think about, huh?  Click on the link to read more about this!
